On Tuesday Class 2 took part in an amazing astronaut training day!
We started off the morning with a recorded interview with Tim Peake where he was explaining what it was like to be in space!
We then headed into the incredible planetarium where we learnt all about constellations, planets and galaxies.
After break we had to measure ourselves for our space suits! We used rulers, metre sticks and tape measures to measure accurately in standard units.
We then had to do a senses test! We had to guess what an item was by using one of our senses. Firstly we tasted astronaut food which tastes the same as normal but doesn’t look the same! We then went on to test our sense of smell, hearing and touch.
In the afternoon James put us through an astronaut fitness test which involved dodging meteors thrown by aliens and aiming our rockets at targets!
We all passed our astronaut training!!
