We appreciate that arranging a new school for your child can be a difficult time and hope that this page will help guide you through the process. If you are still in the process of deciding a school, please telephone us to arrange to come and have a look around the school and to talk to the headteacher.

The admission process to Bryn Offa CE Primary School will depend on on the age of your child and at what time of the year they are starting. However, it is important that you have a permanent address (owned or rented) before you start the formal paperwork. The process is slightly different for different age children and the full information can be found in the policy by following this link.

Starting in Reception – Children joining the reception class in September will need to apply through the County Council. Please follow link at the bottom of this page.

Starting in other Year Groups – All other year groups starting in September should make an application directly to the school. Please contact the school and request the appropriate forms from Miss Morris, the administrator.

Mid Year Transfers – Regardless of which year group your child is in, if they are transferring to Bryn Offa from another school or setting, you will need to request a Mid Year Transfer form directly from us.

For the procedure of how to make the formal application please go to the Information menu at the top of the screen and select School Policies. For more detailed information and access to forms please click on this link to the Admissions pages of the County Council.
