Class 1 and 2 – Golf Session

On Friday afternoon Class 1 and 2 went out onto the field to try their hands at golf!

They were lucky enough to all have a coaching session from Tom.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

Class 1 and 2 – Visit to church

Yesterday Class 1 and 2 both walked to Llanymynech church.

When we arrived Rev. Trimby had organised a role play baptism involving some of the children.

We also when on a hunt for some of the important symbols around the church and completed some sketches.

After we went to the Heritage Area for a picnic!

All the children were fantastic! Their behaviour was brilliant and they really enjoyed their visit!

A big thank you to all the volunteers who walked with us, to and from church.

Class One visit to Heritage Centre

Class One enjoyed a fabulous day at the Heritage Centre.

We went on a treasure hunt looking for our Forest School toy woodland animals, who joined us.

We made a bracelet from natural materials and played in the buttercup meadow.

Chester Zoo

Class One enjoyed a fabulous trip to Chester Zoo.

Class 1 – Forest School

We had a lovely time making and eating Scotch Pancakes at Forest School.

Red Nose Day – Class 1

Famous Artists – Class 1

We have been inspired by the artwork of Guiseppe Arcimboldo, Wassily Kandinsky and Georgia O’Keefe.  We have produced some fantastic works of art.

British Science Week – Class 1

Class 1 have been hunting for mini-beasts around the school site and creating habitats for them.

Science Week – Class 1

Today in Class 1 we investigated friction! We used a friction trick to get the monkey to climb up the string. The rubbing of the string against the straw generates enough friction to keep the monkey from falling down. Have fun trying this at home!
