1.4.20 Mrs Whitby’s weekly ‘Families Together’ (Indoor and Outdoor)
Can you forward all your pictures from this day forward to me (Mrs Whitby) using my school email: learningmentor@brynoffa.shropshire.sch.uk
Mrs Whitby’s ‘Families Together Activities’
Indoors, this week is making funny faces week. Make more than one of each facial feature and you can then mix and match faces. Your faces could include eyes, mouths, ears, noses, moustache, beards, hairstyle or glasses. Put each one one on a stick, lolly pop stick, straw and make lots of different funny faces.
Outdoors, when the sun is shining, using chalk and imagination you could create something like the examples shown or your own ideas. While we are in lock down it is nice to smile, putting a smile on others faces as well as our own. Also, as a parent myself I like to make memory photos, maybe this will achieve a few more. I made my photos into postcards using Photobox and sent to grandparents and family as thank you cards.
Enjoy, keeping safe and healthy. If you need any help, advice or support, you can contact me via the school email learningmentor@brynoffa.shropshire.sch.uk

25.4.20  Just an extra

Monday Kind to me Even if you’re indoors, it’s important to exercise every day. Search ‘PE with Joe’ on YouTube and get your running shoes on! https://www.youtube.com/thebodycoachtv

Tuesday Kind to others Hand washing is important to keep you and everyone around you safe. But it’s easy to forget! Create small ‘wash your hands’ posters to stick around your home. Here are some examples: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/201536152052497220

Wednesday Kind to the world Lots of people, such as doctors, nurses, teachers and delivery drivers, are working hard to keep you safe. Create a ‘thank you’ card to give to someone you know.

Thursday Kind to me Create a ‘I’m bored’ jar with your family. Fill the jar with ideas of things to do, such as ‘Read a book’, ‘Build a castle from lego’, or ‘Play with my baby sister’

Friday Kind to others Being in the house can get lonely. Make someone’s day by calling or texting an older relative. Ask them how they are, tell them a story or share your best joke!

Enjoy while bringing a smile to others as well as yourself.
