Children’s Mental Health Week 2023

We’ve had a busy week full of activities to support Children’s Mental Health week, ending with a fantastic ‘Dress to Express’ day today which has raised an amazing £210 for the charity Place2Be! Everyone looked brilliant and really expressed themselves through their chosen outfits. Well done Bryn Offa!

We have also had a very kind donation of Usborne children’s books from Town and Country Estate Agents, Oswestry, which support learning about mental health, friendships, diversity and feelings. We are grateful for this donation and can’t wait to showcase these lovely new books in the school library.

…and finally, well done to those of you who completed the Taskmaster Education tasks this week. We were especially impressed with Rhys Derwas’s rainbow.

Bryn Offa will be taking part by completing some activities with their class at school. We will also be holding a non-uniform ‘Dress to Express’ day on Friday the 10th of February. Children could wear their favourite colour, or a unique outfit to express how they are feeling.
In addition Taskmaster Education have partnered up with Place2Be and during Children’s Mental Health Week 2023, Alex Horne will set daily tasks for children to do at school or at home! You can find more information by following the link below.
